What’s Green and Read All Over?
The Great American Book Drive hosted by Open Books and Better World Books!
Are your bookshelves bursting at the seams?
Donate used books on Sunday, October 26th at our drive-through book drive!

CHICAGO (October 10, 2008) — Open Books, Chicago’s first nonprofit literacy bookstore -to-be, is partnering with Better World Books to collect as many used books as we can in one day! It’s never been easier to donate your new or gently used books to a local charity and worthwhile cause.

Interested in helping out? Here are the details:
When: Sunday October 26th, 2008
Time: 10 am – 4 pm
Where: 213 W. Institute Place, Chicago, IL 60610 (River North)

A large percentage of the profits from the sale of the books collected will fund Open Books reading programs in the local Chicago community. It’s about literacy, not landfill.

BRING YOUR BOOKS
This will be a drive-through book drive event! Drop off your books without even getting out of your car.

HAVE YOUR BOOKS PICKED UP
